MESSAGE TO AOL SUBSCRIBERS
This is a message to AOL subscribers of ABBAMAIL's internet mailing list.
Earlier today I received an urgent message from the service proivder that hosts our mailing list, WhatHelps?. The have had 39 complaints lodged from AOL about ABBAMAIL emails being spam. Apparently one or more ABBAMAIL subscribers has pushed a button that AOL users have: "Report as Spam".
We are not sure if this is just one ABBAMAIL subscriber who uses AOL as their internet service provider or multiple AOL ABBAMAILers.
To prevent WhatHelps? and ABBAMAIL being blacklisted by AOL, we have had to
unsubscribe all AOL users from ABBAMAIL. I did this a couple of hours ago.
WhatHelps? have set up a separate nofication list so I can let you know what
has happened.
If one or more of you has accidentally reported ABBAMAIL as "spam" to AOL by any means whatsoever, please let me know urgently. Tracking the source of the problem means we can fix it and put you all back on ABBAMAIL. The alternative is basically to ban all AOL users from joining ABBAMAIL - something I want to avoid at all costs.
If you think you might be responsible for the spam notifications, please write to me at: info@abbamail.com All I want to do is to resolve this issue so that we can get you all back on the list.
If any of you have an alternate (non-AOL) email address that you want to use to rejoin ABBAMAIL right now, please also write to me at info@abbamail.com and I will get you back on the list immediately.
